Add an extension allowing to convert the house into a bi-generation dwelling without it being too obvious. Add a closed foyer to the main entrance. Solve a ventilation problem in the roof space.

Report of the technologist

The extension is built on the right side of the house. The link between the two living quarters is in the back of the garage which is reorganized for more functionality. The foyer in the front is feasible but implies a modification of the stairway towards the second floor. The addition of a gable and an adequate fan resolves the ventilation problem.
