Revamp the house while keeping the architecture simple befitting the neighbourhood. Add a gallery of good proportions and perhaps even a gazebo to make good use of the orientation but without any aluminum columns.

Replacing the windows, the doors , the clapboard and the ashphalt shingles, gives the house a much fresher look while the addition of a covered gallery on two facades joined together by a gazebo yields a brand new look .The use of treated wood instead of aluminum provides warmth much to the delight of the owners.
